ArtsCan Circle is a non-profit organization that sends volunteer
musicians and artists to challenged, remote northern communities
to provide instruction to at risk youth with the goal of
building self-esteem through creativity.
I have had the privilege to travel north three times so far and
while I have witnessed some extremely difficult living
conditions, I have also been moved by the resilience, humour and
creativity of the youth that I have worked with.
ArtsCan Circle is always looking for trip volunteers and accepts
donations of Aeroplan miles, musical instruments, cash and time.
