Globe - waterfall - ice. This globe looked spectacular
against the backdrop of the Alton Mill waterfall splashing
through it - I ended up using a shot of it underneath the disc
in my CD packaging.
As it iced up it created a fascinating and beautiful ice
sculpture of its own, eventually breaking its cable, submerging
in the fast moving water and taking on a new shape against the
rocks before being recovered the next spring. It couldn’t have
happened better if I’d planned it.
